Good News Center Ministries
The Good News Center is AUMC’s place for ministries of whole-life compassionate care with our community. We open our doors every Friday morning from 8a-11a to share God’s love in very tangible ways:
Groceries
Guests shop for dry goods like canned veggies, fruits, soups, meats, pasta, cereal, peanut butter, and more and also select several perishable items like milk, cheese, eggs, and frozen meats.
Gently Used Clothings
Guests can select several clothing items including adult, young adult, child, toddler, and infant sizes.
Meals
Guests can enjoy a hot meal, coffee, drinks, and snacks served by our hospitality team while they wait for their turn to shop.
Prayers
Guests can meet with a volunteer in the prayer room to share their burdens and be reminded of God’s faithfulness. Our prayer team also passes out notecards so guests can share their prayer needs.
