AUMC offers Sunday school classes for children two years old through sixth grade from 9:30-10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Sunday mornings. These classes are designed to engage children of all ages in a meaningful interaction with Scripture, as well as other children. Sunday school is a great way to introduce your children to the joy of church and awaken them to a love of Christ and Scripture.
Beginning at age two, our Sunday School classes mirror public school age requirements. (Children should turn the age of the class by September 1.) Promotion Sunday to their next class is observed on the first Sunday of September. As a special celebration, second graders are presented with a Bible each May in order to encourage them to begin reading Scripture for themselves and growing deeper in their relationship with Christ.
