If you have been visiting AUMC for a while now and are interested in becoming a member, we would love to encourage you to do so! We feel there are so many blessings waiting for you as you choose to get more connected to our church. Being a member of AUMC is like being a member of a warm, close-knit family. There are many opportunities to build friendships and grow in your faith with other believers just like you. So if you are thinking of joining our AUMC family, here's what you need to know:
There are two ways to become a member of AUMC. If you are a new believer, you would join by Profession of Faith. As someone new to the Christian faith, we encourage you to join our church so that you can be surrounded by other believers. You may also transfer your membership to AUMC if you are a member at another church and have decided to switch congregations.
If you are not yet a believer, or not sure about becoming one, we encourage you to talk to one of our pastors or program staff members. We will be happy to help you understand what we believe and why. We know you have questions, and we’d love to help you find the answers!
